Dylan Thomas

Poetry is what in a poem makes you laugh, cry, prickle, be silent, makes your toenails twinkle, makes you want to do this or that or nothing, makes you know that you are alone in the unknown world, that you bliss and suffering is forever shared and forever all your own. - Dylan Thomas

24 hours with Lynda in September

I went to Mike's to take care of Eliana and Mikey while mom and dad got away to a movie. I really had fun. They were good kids and went to bed when they were supposed to like angels.
Eliana and I made up some fun games. Here she is acting like a tree! When Mike and Jessica got home I drove home and got a full night's sleep.

In the morning I was expecting Jeff and Pam to bring Gizmo for me to care for while they attended the big Warren Cranfest. I still have him as tomorrow they are coming back to church in Reedsburg then running to Madison to pick up the Bridesmaid dresses. Wedding plans are in the air this year!

Gizmo loves me and Piggy tolerates him well. He doesn't bother her much and goes to his crate when he is ready.

I did want to take some pictures of how Fall like the corn is. Some fields are already picked and cleared.

I dressed up to the 9's to go see my honey lamb today. I had a couple errands to run on the way.

Look at that red Sumac!

Trees are turning gold and reddish browns.

I popped in to Slumberland to look at headboards. I love my bed but need a headboard to keep the pillows on.

They had two possible ones. Which one to choose??? Well, I have time to decide as I need to raise the cash!

Jack was glad to see me through his squinty eyes. He has an Opthamologist appnt. on Oct. 6th!

His nurse Ruth gave him his nebulizer treatment to aid him in keeping his airways clear.

We went outside and he sat by the flowers for awhile.

Supper was being served when we got back in. He has two ladies as his tablemates. This one is Jean.

Millie gets right down to business same as Jack does with concentrating on eating. Today was the first time she actually said hello to me. I was glad she is getting used to me now.

I came home after this and was excited to be in my lovely little cottage. I have roses on the dresser. I bought them for myself but I know Jack would if he could.

I had finished several projects this week and I loved walking around admiring them. Wall words are fun!

My beloved bath with a suggested way to Soak!

The new curtains I rigged up this week and the wall of flowers and butterflies.

My place to meet the Lord in the morning or to read late at night. Note my black shelf that Jessi put up for me earlier in the week. My Willow angels are now dug out of the attic and on display. This was a really good 24 hours!
