We love our babies! This one is very special. She came in with a "Failure to Thrive" label and had rickets as well.
I am no Nancy Nurse but with a lot of coaching from S I got onto the feeding tube and the contraption the pump hung on. Tubes and ratchets and syringes and vitamins to insert and whoa...am I really doing this?
Tonight was the worst. I tried and tried to get it all done right. The antibiotic ended up on the wall then I figured that out. I finally got it all figured out or so I thought and she fell asleep. A couple hours later I heard her crying. The machine hadn't made a warning sound but when I got there it was leaking all over her bed. So.......I found a soft towel, changed her clothing, turned the machine off and after retaping the loose connection I got it going again and she is back to sleep. Precious girl will need an extra hour of being on the pump tomorrow morning to regain what leaked out! I will be checking it more often tonight.
We took a few pictures when she came and again today...3 weeks later and what a difference! Yeah Pedia-sure! Yeah Vitamin D. She will be good as new soon and Mom can get her back! She is liking food better and taking bigger bites now. She is crawling and creeping and today she held my fingers and I got her to "walk" 5-6 steps several times.
Oh what a baby she is!

Oh yes, I so enjoyed watching you sqirt the wall with pink pepto-like substance that is sticky and smells like bubble gum! Yes, baby so precious!
